- Recently re-registered with the DVLA
- Pleasingly patinated and commendably original
The Appeal
Designed by the great Edward Turner, the Triumph Tiger Cub proved an immensely popular learner bike. It was a very attractive proposition to new riders, as it looked, sounded and rode like Triumph’s full-size offerings. Seasoned riders also recognised the lightweight Tiger Cub’s potential for offroad trials and scrambling events.
Today, original survivors are exceedingly desirable and here we have one such example from 1964 which is in fantastic overall conditioning while exhibiting a pleasing patina. The vendor informs us that it runs well and is ready for the road now that they’ve re-registered it with the DVLA. Benefiting from road tax and MOT exemption due to its age, this Triumph is a very appealing proposition.
