The Appeal

Whether its for trips to the pub, beach, or favourite dog walk, there's no better way to trundle around the country lanes than in a leaf-sprung Land Rover. This 1964 example began life as a petrol Series IIA but has at some point it appears to have undergone various updates to diesel Series III specification, with the headlamps moved outbound to the wings and a later bulkhead and dashboard.

The vendor tells us:

"I bought this Land Rover in 2007, I fell in love at first sight and it has never let me down.
It has always been housed indoors and serviced regularly. A great working vehicle, I initially trundled around in it regularly but latterly, it only comes out very occasionally to bring in the hay bales and such. So is really being wasted here."
