The Appeal
For those seeing a classic car to use regularly and enjoy, we’d readily recommend a Land Rover. With excellent parts availability and a large network of marque specialists, these rugged off-roaders can be kept going with relative ease and prove immensely capable across the toughest of terrain.
We’re delighted to offer this well sorted 1964 Series IIA, which has been subject to a great deal of work in recent years. In 2019 it received a replacement 2.25-litre petrol engine, Series III gearbox and axles along with uprated carburation and ignition to match. The paint and bodywork are really smart, as are the bulkhead and chassis.
Exempt from road tax, MOT testing and even the ULEZ charge, this a very usable classic and having received so much attention with a number of sensible upgrades applied, it is ready to be enjoyed. This smart old Land Rover really looks the part and benefits from a great many sympathetic upgrades. Supremely driveable with its Series III running gear and tuned replacement engine, this is one you’ll not want to miss.
