The Appeal
The Eldorado was not a car of subtlety. Always positioned at the top end of Cadillac's range, and always coming in as a great big land-liner about 18ft in length, these cars offered a palatial cabin that lacked subtlety as much as it offered comfort. If you think of a near-quintessential American classic, chances are this is never far from your mind, and good examples continue to garner plenty of admiration.
This fine example was originally based in Alabama, then Germany, then Ireland - and is now living out its days in comfort in Hungary. It's undergone plenty of work - including a wallet-friendly LPG conversion - and still carries plenty of 1960s-era glamour, laden with wood and leather, and led by a big 429cu V8.
We've no doubt that this fabulous, striking yellow car will garner plenty of attention from enthusiasts. Not one to be missed!
