The Attractions
The Autobianchi Bianchina is a fascinating and often overlooked protagonist of Italian automotive history. Conceived as a compact city car, the Bianchina offered a more elegant alternative to the ubiquitous Fiat 500 while remaining equally simple under the skin.
This example has been carefully preserved and improved and received a respectful restoration, carried out in 2013 shortly after its purchase by the seller. Fortunately, the original interior remained intact and in fantastic condition. The engine has been replaced with a more robust 650 cc powerplant, as has the gearbox, offering a more dynamic driving experience, although the original components have been retained. With its Italian registration and ASI certification, this Bianchina is an attractive prospect for any classic car enthusiast.
