The Attractions
The widespread popularity of the classic Mini sometimes makes it necessary to remember how ingenious and innovative it was. This lovely '63 Mk1 makes that clear.
Restored some 15 years ago, it is in excellent condition and retains its correct Old English White colour scheme, combined with a red vinyl-clad interior. This is indeed an excellent example of an early model. It is pleasingly faithful to the original specification, as the restoration has carefully replicated all the small details that characterise these early versions, including the hinged rear number plate at the top and the starter on the floor.
A BMIHT certificate and ASI certification testify that this is a vehicle with correct serial numbers. In May 2024, the mechanics were overhauled and tuned, and work involved the fuel system, carburettors, cooling system, radiator, clutch and fluids.
It's really hard to find a better early Mini than this one. Take the opportunity to make it yours before you miss out on this opportunity.
