The Appeal

There's a good reason why the W111 remains a style icon, its appeal stretching well beyond classic car enthusiasts into the realms of modern style setters. These cars were always aimed at the wealthiest of motorists - particularly residents of sunny Hollywood and Bel Air - and those charms remain decades after the last cars left the factory.

Imported to the UK in 2020, this 220SE has undergone significant work since arriving in the UK, including an extensive interior retrim and thorough mechanical overhaul. As a result, it is said to be running and driving very well indeed, with no apparent faults to report. It’s now UK road registered, exempt from road tax and MOT testing and complete with all invoices amassed during recent years.

It is a mark of the current keeper's transparency that despite it no longer being a legal requirement, the car reaches market with long MOT to April 2025.
