The Attractions
Equipped with refined Lancia mechanics and designed and built by Touring Superleggera of Milan, the Flaminia coupé is a precious testimony to the glorious past of these two illustrious marques. They were expensive and prestigious cars, and only 168 GT 2800s like this one were produced.
This car has had three owners and is beautifully presented in Chantilly Ivory with a wonderful light brown leather interior. It was built in 1963 - so it is one of the earliest 2.8s - but only registered in August 1968. For the first five years it was used as a show car and admiring it you can see why.
Its excellent condition reflects the complete restoration it received in 2022.
It is known to the Lancia Historic Register and is offered with overhaul valid until January 2025. Flaminia GT 2.8Ls are highly collectible cars and this is a particularly remarkable example.

The windows were removed in 2022 and the bodywork was restored and repainted, and the car has travelled few kilometres since then, so it is in particularly good condition. Particular attention has been paid to the headlights and seals.
The interior upholstered in light brown leather matches the exterior colouring beautifully. This Lancia has a mix of original features and restored elements that gives it a fascinating patina that goes particularly well with its character. Details such as the original three-spoke steering wheel are among the most fascinating aspects of this beautiful car.
The Mechanics
- Lancia V6 engine of 2,775 cm3
- Model with triple carburettor and 145 hp
- 4-speed manual gearbox
- We have been informed that the car has the correct serial numbers
- Clutch replaced in 2023
- Distributor and electric fuel pump replaced last year
- The seller informs us that there are no mechanical problems
The last Flaminia GTs were fitted with the larger 2.8L version of Lancia's legendary V6. With the triple carburettor, power increased to the remarkable 145 hp, and torque was also increased. These models are very rare: only 168 GTs were produced by Touring Superleggera of Milan with this configuration.
This car with correct serial numbers is equipped with that particularly desirable engine and a 4-speed manual gearbox. It spent the first five years of its life as a show car, and was only registered in August 1968.
The seller, its third owner, bought it in 2011 and has rarely used it, subjecting it to regular maintenance and a complete restoration. The most recent maintenance includes a clutch rebuild and new distributor and fuel pump, serviced in 2023.
