The Appeal
The Daimler V8 is much more than merely a spruced-up Jag. Ditching the XK straight-six in favour of the excellent Ted Turner V8 (also used in the SP250 Dart), utterly transformed the car. It was lightweight and muscular, proving effortlessly versatile - while the cabin, as you'd expect from Daimler, was positively palatial.
This example has been subject to plenty of work in recent years, and has completed no less than five UK tours without issue. It's carrying a suitably time-honoured patina, but if you're planning to bring it up to Concours, you've got a superb canvas to work off of, presented in a timeless red colour scheme both inside and out.
