We car enthusiasts aren't always best-pleased to be stuck behind a caravan on or favourite B road, but we'll make an exception for this magnificent Airstream. Make no mistake, this is not your typical flimsy plastic box on wheels. No, this 22' 1963 Airstream Safari was built to last, using solid materials. Frankly, it would be prohibitively expensive to build anything this quality today, so it's fortunate we have these few survivors in order to experience caravan holidaying at its most glamorous.

A bonafide American icon, this 4 berth Airstream would be the perfect complement to a classic Chevrolet pickup, or be installed permanently as a high-end camping retreat for hire. It comes with its original "lifetime warranty certificate" with matching numbers against the chassis, as well as a current gas safety certificate.

Originally from Texas, it's unusual to see one of these Airstreams in the UK, let alone such an incredibly original and well-preserved example that's been sympathetically restored to such a high standard, The "Land Yacht" retains many of its factory features, including the original glass, door lock, and key, while benefiting from a host of modern upgrades such as a new marine-grade water tank, plumbing, and solar panels.
