The Appeal
While under the skin it's as British as tea and crumpets, those new to the Vauxhaull Cresta would be forgiven for assuming it came out of Detroit. American styling, characterised by prominent tail fins and lashings of chrome, was very popular in Britian at the time and in subsequent years has earned this car a cult following.
This 1962 Cresta has been very well maintained by the vendor who has carried out a number of technical and cosmetic jobs during their custodianship.. The interior is clean, tidy and original, the paintwork has been professionally refinished in 2023 and several key mechanical fixes have been carried out to ensure this car is in rude health.
For those seeking a great example, this one looks to be as good as they come.
