The Appeal
One of the most iconic of the '60s British sports cars, the Triumph TR4 was a roadster loaded with attitude and a distinct amount of 'grunt' compared to its smaller counterparts. They were a huge hit, particularly in the USA, and are still more than sprightly enough to keep up with modern traffic - plus, that Giovanni Michelotti styling has aged incredibly well.
This fabulous 1962 example was subject to a comprehensive restoration in 2004, and has equally aged perfectly. Rather than coming in as an overly-polished, glammed-up example, it's gained a charming patina that perfectly fits the Triumph image - while remaining clean, solid and period-correct. You'd be forgiven for thinking it was a time capsule.
