The Mechanics
- 1.8-litre B Series engine
- Four-speed manual gearbox
- One battery cradle has been rebuilt, the other requires attention
- Small oil leak between the gearbox engine, a common issue with B Series engine
- The engine has been stripped and rebuilt
- The engine has a standard bore, re-ringed big ends+20, re-shelled head standard, and so the vendor uses fuel additives
- New starter motor ring gear fitted
- The vendor states that the car provides a pleasant driving experience with a smooth gearbox and achieves 28 mpg
