The Appeal
The Flaminia was the final throw of the dice for Vincenzo Lancia’s independent firm. And what a roll it was. Exquisitely engineered with sleek styling, it cost twice the equivalent Alfa Romeo. This was a beautiful car for very rich beautiful people.
The coupe, built by Pininfarina, cost even more, yet was so desirable that it outsold the saloon. It evolved through various versions, early cars being fitted with the 2.5litre V6.
ASI certification confirms that this is one of them, an early 1962 car classically finished in silver of a burgundy leather interior. There is scope to improve, or simply enjoy the 62 year patina of a car that would make a great daily driver.
