The Attractions

In the mid-1950s, Italy was going through a period full of novelty and great changes. The 'economic miracle', the result of post-war optimism and fuelled by industrial development, profoundly transformed everyday life, and one of the most obvious effects of this widespread prosperity was the huge increase in demand for and production of cars. The Fiat 600, a small and attractive hatchback, was sold in over two million units and helped change the very idea of mobility for many Italian families.

This example from 1962 allows us to perfectly appreciate the qualities that made these cars so successful. Extremely original, authentic and full of period character, this delightful white hatchback has only had two previous owners and is in excellent condition.
