It's easy to see why American cars from this era are called 'land yachts'. At five and a half metres in length, this Cadi is one hell of a big building! While its size may prompt nautical comparisons, its look is pure space. America was obsessed with all things space travel at the time, and it really shows when you look at these cars.

"I purchased this fifth generation six-seat Cadillac without the upright. The DeVille Sedan, of which 26,415 were produced between 1961 and 1964, caught my eye when I saw the movie Green Book. And the colour is simply magnificent in the sun. It's an eye-catcher every time you drive it."
