The Appeal

Beloved of the "King of Cool" himself, Steve McQueen, the Triumph TR6 Trophy proved especially popular stateside where it became known as the "desert sled" for its immense off-road capability. TR6 Trophys dominated competition including the gruelling International Six Day Trial and McQueen even rode one in 1962 film 'The Great Escape'.

This 1960 example was exported new to the USA and was repatriated to the UK in 2009. It has since undergone an extensive restoration, covering a mere 372 miles since. It's won many awards at concours events including Salon Privé and has been displayed at the London Motorcycle Museum.

For collectors, this is surely an unmissable opportunity.
