The Appeal
If there is ever a list assembled of the ‘perfect classic’ then the MGA would surely rank highly. Beautiful, aerodynamic lines, reliable mechanicals and bright chromework make these lovely cars particularly compelling. Then there is the unrivalled club and parts scene.
This handsome 1960 car is amongst the best we’ve seen in a while. It was fully restored across the bodywork, paintwork, trim and mechanicals between 2022 and 2023 and has covered few miles since. The quality of that work is obvious in the paint finish and the panel fit.
It is really the MGA you want - an original 'home market' RHD late model Mk1 with the more powerful 1,600cc motor. It has been well maintained and is said to ‘run perfectly.’
A good MGA provides access to a vibrant social scene, not to mention being a great touring car. With its recent rebuild and 5spd gearbox, this one looks very tempting.
