The Appeal

62 years after the last of Syd Enever’s streamlined MGs rolled off the Abingdon line, here is a remarkable opportunity. It is a freshly restored - to the tune of £48,000 - MGA 1600 that has been road tested but never otherwise used since completion in 2022. It is as close to a brand new MGA as it is surely possible to get and the buyer will be the first UK keeper.

Finished in Glacier Blue with tan trim, it is an exceptionally pretty car. The quality of work is evident from the photographs and presents in ‘just finished’ restored condition. This car would be perfect for a high end collection or the most discerning of MGA enthusiasts.

It is a desirable 1600 model first registered early in the production run in 1959. Originally supplied in LHD, it arrived back in the UK in 2002 and has been carefully dry stored since work was completed around two years ago.

The MGA is both beautiful and very usable. This is one of the best we’ve seen recently.

Tan leather interior with white stitching and piping to seats
Fully retrimmed cabin with little or no use since completion so virtually ‘as new’
There are some very minor marks to cabin visible in photos likely from storage

Well detailed cabin with aftermarket four spoke wood-rimmed steering wheel fitted
