The Appeal
The Series II Land Rover was only introduction for four years 1958-61, with some overlap into Series IIa production. This makes it the rarest of all the Series. The Series II offered here is thought to have covered just over 33,000 miles mainly due to a period when it was used on a holiday park to move caravans and later a 20 year period stored at a farm. There are old MoT certificates on file that appear to corroborate this. Re-commissioned in 2006, it still retains its original engine and gearbox, although it was it was repainted in Limestone. It has a Heritage Certificate issued earlier this year, lots of recent attention and new parts; it is fully operational and drives like it should.
