THE APPEAL
Classic British roadsters have always had their own notoriety in the automotive world, with their seductive aesthetics and sensuous power trains they seem to tantalise and enchant the globe, with many enthusiasts searching for their own so they can devote their time, love and money into.
Exceptionally restored in 2005, this 1958 Triumph TR3A is an outstanding example of why we love classic British Roadsters. Made of glorious curves, exceptional detailing and of course those gorgeously designed doors, the TR3a is a stunning roadster that offers more than just a teasing appearance. Equipped with a 1991 cc straight-4 and front disc brakes the performance of the TR3A is widely reviewed as a responsive, thrilling car that will provide the biggest of smiles from both its agility and infectious exhaust notes.
Accompanied by a large folder of paperwork including numerous invoices in the thousands, the restoration included a full engine rebuild and body restoration using the panels from a dry-state US car but keeping the car's original chassis. The low driving position, large steering wheel and short central gear shifter make your time in the car feel very race influenced and your driving experience very enchanted and deliberate. It's a glorious environment, presented brilliantly with only the smallest signs of use visible with all switches and buttons all reported to be in excellent operating condition.

The alluring aesthetics of this TR3A is amplified by the car's incredible condition. The car's original chassis is still in place and was inspected and treated to ensure longevity, the car was then assembled, primed and painted to the superb red pictured. Stainless steel bumpers were fitted in 2015 and gleam spectacularly as do the wire wheels which are presented unscathed and in perfect order.
