1958 Renault 4CV Luxe Model (LHD)

THE APPEAL

This small, rear-engined, four-door was covertly designed during WWII and became a vital tool in France's post-war rebuild and in getting working-class France back on the road. It became the first French car to surpass one million units sold and featured suicide doors, chic styling and an economic 747cc engine.
This later 1958 model has spent most of its life in the dry state of Nevada before travelling to California where it was restored over the late 90s and early 00s. It was imported to the UK in 2017 and currently resides in the English Riviera.

SUMMARY

A million units were produced over a 14-year period however few 4CVs have survived the test of time.

This car has stood strong thanks to its life in the dry state of Nevada and then restoration in California before arriving in the UK. It's a rare car in the UK and with a little love and time, it could be a great addition to any garage.
