The Appeal
MG’s new car was such a step change from what went before that it got a fresh new name, one that was also appropriately unfussy - the A. Aerodynamics helped maximise the performance but they also delivered a very pretty car.
The A was popular in MG’s key USA market, which is where this 1958 1500 first went when new. It returned here during lockdown in 2020, imported by the vendor. It is now reluctantly for sale due to the purchase of an Alfa Romeo Spider - unlike the MGA, the Alfa has space for her dog!
Beautifully finished in factory original Orient Red with a contrasting black leather interior, this car is in very good condition and fine mechanical health. This car looks tailormade for the warmer spring and summer weather coming our way - hopefully - very soon.
