The Plus
When it first came out, there was no car like the XK150: big, elegant and powerful, it looked good and travelled long distances. Qualities that explain why these rare cars remain popular with collectors, especially those who take part in rallies and various classic car events.
This 1958 OTS would be perfect for those outings, sporting or otherwise. A huge restoration process covering chassis, suspension, bodywork, upholstery and mechanicals means that it arrives in what the vendor rightly describes as 'like new' factory condition. With a vehicle that looks great in Old English white with burgundy trim.
But condition is only part of the appeal of this vehicle. The car has been extensively upgraded using improvements popular with those who appreciated these cars for what they were intended: driving.
This work included a switch to 3.8-litre specification with triple 'S' carburettors and a revised five-speed gearbox and rear axle ratios.
Only 2173 examples of the left-hand drive XK150 OTS were built, and this is one of the best-looking and best-spec cars we've seen for a long time.
