The Appeal

The Citroën 2CV symbolised French ingenuity and charm, a car designed to be as comfortable driving across a ploughed field as it was on the tarmac. Often credited with getting Europe on the road after the war, these inexpensive cars continued in production up until the 1990s - with remarkably little change to the winning formula.

This particular 1958 Luxe 2CV is a stunning example of the car, having been carefully restored and recommissioned to near Concours condition. With an astonishingly low 5,900 miles on the clock and only two owners since it was built, we'd go to so far to say that this is one of the most impressive examples of the diminutive 'tin snail' we've ever seen.
