Highlights
- Formerly part of a large collection
- To be UK road registered by the vendor prior to collection
- The ultimate version of the DB2 and the last of the Feltham-built Aston Martins
The Appeal
Prior to Aston Martin’s move to Newport Pagnell, the final of the so-called Feltham cars was the DB2/4 - a car that marked the end of an era in more ways than one. It was the final outing for the W.O. Bentley-designed DOHC straight-six engine and also the last Aston Martin styled by a British draftsman until the advent of the DBS in 1967.
We’re delighted to offer this lovely left-hand drive example from 1958 which has recently been imported to the UK. Formerly part of a large static collection, it now runs and drives although the vendor advises that it will require recommissioning before returning to the road. The Aston Martin will however be freshly registered in readiness for its next custodian and due to its age, it will benefit from road tax and MOT exemption.
