  • Fully rebuilt engine to fast road and rally specification

The Appeal

This may look like a regular TR3. Lets get things clear at the outset: it really isn’t.
The black wires may be a hint, but beneath the smart Old English White paintwork this is one of the fastest and most exhilarating TR3s on the road. Don’t just take our word for it - that’s exactly how classic specialist Fender-Broad described it.
That is thanks to a comprehensive restoration and upgrade by none other than Revington TR - if you’re after a hotted up TR, they’ll be on speed dial. The work was completed in 2012 and involved close to £34,000 of work and a very, very long list of enhancements. In short, this is an exceptionally well sorted TR3 and considerably better and faster than it left the factory. Highlights include a fully rebuilt engine to fast road and rally specification, fuel injection, gearbox by Hardy Engineering and uprated suspension.
It has covered just over 6,000 miles since all that work was completed. For most of that time it has been carefully stored in a dehumidified garage and only used in the dry. Not surprisingly, it is in very good condition.
Opportunities like this are scarce. This is a TR3 fully evolved by Revington TR to perhaps the best these cars can be. Perfect for competitive events or just for blasting around the countryside, this is a hugely tempting classic British sports car.

“The original concept was initiated by the previous owner in 1999 when he drove Neil Revington’s car and declared that he wanted one exactly like that but with fuel injection.

“The result, is a fast, yet perfectly set up car, with a surprisingly smooth ride. As Fender-Broad proclaimed: “This is a very special car indeed and probably the fastest TR3 we have ever driven, a true wolf in sheep’s clothing if ever there was one!”
