1956 Morris Minor Traveller

Highlights

  • Rare split screen Series II Traveller
  • Ash frame appears to be very solid
  • Upgraded to 948cc engine

The Appeal

Morris Minors are affectionately regarded by anyone who remembers learning to drive in one or spent lazy Sunday afternoons bumbling around the countryside to the tune of the unmistakable A-series burble. And particularly desirable among the many variants of Minor are the early Travellers, with two-piece windscreens. These cars are attractive and very rare.
This particular example has previously been restored and is now presented for sale in very good order throughout. The ash framed rear section of the body is very smartly polished and appears to be in good condition. Similarly the grey paintwork retains a deep shine, and the interior upholstery has been renewed.
So if you’re looking for an unusual yet still very practical classic, then this Series II Traveller will be sure to attract plenty of interest at shows and on the road, especially as it has been fitted with a more powerful 948cc engine to give it a little more grunt.
