The Appeal
MG’s post-war buyers loved the firm’s run of T-Type models because they provided low cost, simple two seater thrills backed by simple, rugged mechanicals. The TF 1500 was the last throw of the classically styled T-Type dice with revised aesthetics that introduced a more sporting look.
This attractive 1955 TF 1500 spent its life in a dry American state until 2014 when it was repatriated. With evidence of continuous investment since its return it is very presentable with a nice level of patina suitable to its advancing age. Fun, usable and backed by superb club and owner support, this could be a great opportunity to discover - or rediscover - the joys of TF motoring.

Summary
MG’s T-Types were a remarkable run of pre and post war sports cars that wove their way into the early lives of young motorists in Britain and America. The final TF 1500 updated the style and added more power.
This delightful ‘55 TF 1500 wears its 68 years lightly, its bright paintwork and chrome and smart interior hinting at carefree post-war days. Still factory correct with its black paintwork it has a nice level of patina that adds to its character.
