Highlights
- Completely restored
- Original Patina’d bodywork
- Re-engined
- Highly attractive ‘Rat-Rod’ finish
The Appeal
While it may not look like a masterpiece of innovation, the 2CV continued Citroën’s legendary reputation for smart technology and its applications - even in a time of analogue mechanics. With its long-travel suspension system - dedicated to the idea of crossing farmland - the 2CV is often credited with getting France motorised in even its most rural areas.
This impressive example is ready and raring to go - having been subject to a restoration of quite literally everything safe for the bodywork. The shell is presented with its working aesthetic still firmly on display, creating a charming, rural European iteration of the Rat-Rod.
The look is so evocative, we wouldn’t be too surprised if it ends up becoming a bit of a trendsetter.

The Mechanics
- Re-engined with a new H2 425cc engine

- New fuel tank
- New chassis floors
