1954 BSA M20 600 CX Combination

HIGHLIGHTS

  •  Matching numbers BSA
  •  Restored to a professional standard
  •  Low mileage
  •  Wonderful sidecar

THE APPEAL

Developed specifically has a heavy-framed sidecar model in 1937, the BSA M20 initially had a 500 cc single-cylinder side-valve engine with plenty of low-end torque. The early bikes evolved into long-serving military machines and served with all three forces, proving to be reliable and easy to maintain.
Also popular as a sidecar model in civvy-street, M20’s were a regular sight on British roads as AA patrol bikes during the 1950’s. The later M21 600 cc engined motorcycles (as we have here), offered even more grunt and continued to offer reliable transportation for the masses.
Described by the vendor as “almost show standard”, this bike and sidecar are both fine looking examples, and judging by the accompanying paperwork, were restored to a very high professional standard in the late 1990’s/early 2000’s.
Part of a collection in recent years, this combo’ has travelled very few miles and is still in excellent cosmetic and mechanical condition and should be a joy to ride, show, maintain or simply add to your collection.
