The Appeal

If you love the Beetle - and who doesn't - chances are you already know why this lovely blue example is so special. When the 'People's Car' first hit the market in 1947, it came in this format, with a split oval rear window that may not have been particularly practical, but added to the vehicle's legendary character. By 1953, this was being simplified into a singular oval, and then, by 1958, was replaced entirely by a more conventional rear windscreen.

That makes this a very rare 'original' Beetle and one that's likely to attract plenty of admiration. The smart blue colour scheme matches the car down to the ground, and we understand it to be running as sweetly as ever, thanks to a recent restoration. Registered in the Netherlands and ready to go, this fabulous little car is quite the prospect!
