The Plus

Looking at this lovely MG TD, it's easy to see why it was such a success after the war. It may have looked like a pre-war car, but its bold styling, robust engineering and cheerful character were perfectly suited to the peace era.

These are all qualities that have kept TDs popular with classic car enthusiasts. Excellent parts availability and specialist technical support are also important factors.

This car benefited from both of these factors, as it underwent a complete restoration, including body disassembly, which included work on the bodywork itself, paintwork, trim and mechanicals. The engine was completely rebuilt with new bearings.

The car began its life in Arizona before arriving in France around 15 years ago. On arrival, it was extensively restored by the current owner, who is a qualified engineer. The work included retaining the original paint colour while switching to green for the interior and grille blades. All this is complemented by an elegant beige mohair roof.

With only a few kilometres covered since the work was completed, the car is now in very good condition. Here's an opportunity to take advantage of all that work.
