The Appeal

The MG TD epitomised the sort of freedom and fun that post-war buyers craved. Many found their way to America where they spearheaded the British sports car invasion. Those qualities continue to fuel the appeal of these very driveable classic cars.
This car spent its life in North America before arriving back here in 2013. Since then it has been comprehensively restored, the £11,000 of work including a full engine rebuild and conversion to RHD. Finished in smart red with a rust-free black enamel painted chassis, it has covered only 2,250 miles since returning to the road.
The investment has not rested. In 2024 nearly £5,000 was put into work such as new spotlights and wing mirrors, professionally re-conditioned SU carburettors, full brakes overhaul, new battery, and full service
This is a lovely little sports car in classic red and very reassuring condition.
