Released in 1950, the MG TD utilised the XPAG engine and front suspension from the previous TC model. It had a sturdier chassis and improved handling and comfort as a result of modifications to the Y-type frame. The wheel size was reduced to 15 inches, and wire wheels became a popular option. Abingdon produced 29,664 TDs over four years, making it more popular than the TC.
This classic car was produced in 1951 and was based in the United States until 2017 when the current owner brought it to the United Kingdom. Upon arrival, the owner commissioned a complete body-off restoration and engine rebuild, which was completed in 2018. Since then, the car has only been driven for approximately 1,000 miles. Due to its infrequent use, the current owner has decided to part ways with this quintessential British classic from the 1950s.ezKg5EOLbuW024zzOGCSXwnGzYEjBqLU6ecgkOmX.jpg634.33 KB
