The Appeal
We don’t do this often, but here’s a challenge: find a better MG TC than this one. The exquisite condition and beautiful red colour scheme are the result of a comprehensive restoration by Roger Pierce of high-end South African MG specialists Rolo Motors.
The work was funded by the Ellerine family in the 1990s. For those not in the know, they are well-known South African retail magnates with deep pockets and a penchant for the very best classic cars to add to their Johannesburg collection.
According to the seller, this car was restored in the 1990s on the basis of ‘money being no object.’ Since completion it has been part of the family’s carefully stored collection, covering only 100 miles.
The seller describes this as an opportunity to buy an ‘as new’ MG TC and we’d have to agree. The buyer will also be the first UK keeper. Described as needing nothing and with condition that shines brightly through the photographs, this is a collector-quality MG TC for the most discerning enthusiast.
