The Appeal
A switch to four wheels and four cylinders gave Morgan’s first conventional sports car the name that stayed with it for over 80 years.
It all started here, with this 4/4 2 Seater. It is one of 663 pre-war 2 seaters and likely one of the last built as it was first registered in May 1939, only a few months before the outbreak of war.
What a pretty little Morgan it is. Classically finished in British Racing Green - following a restoration around 10 year ago - it is a much-loved member of the vendor’s family and has been carefully serviced and maintained by him.
The simple, well-regarded characteristics that now define Morgan cars were established by the 4/4. This smart and very usable example is a great opportunity to discover where it started. It comes to market with the reassurance of a current Danish roadworthiness certificate.
