The Attractions

The Fiat 508 was very successful not only in its native Italy but throughout Europe, having been produced under licence by several foreign car manufacturers in various countries. In France, the 508 was produced by two companies: one was SAFAF of Suresnes and the other Simca of Nanterre. We are proud to present this rare Simca Fiat 6CV Berline produced in Nanterre in 1937.

Complete and highly original, this Simca/Fiat is proposed as an interesting restoration project and represents a valuable opportunity to restore a very rare, fascinating and highly valued pre-war car to its original splendour. Although a complete restoration could make this Balilla truly magnificent, its overall condition appears to be good considering its years and we have been informed that the mechanics need more of a thorough overhaul than a total restoration.
