The Appeal
In the late 1930s some drivers were no different then to now: they be dealing with the practical requirements of a family but they still wanted the verve and pizazz of a sports car.
For them there was the MG VA, a range of sporting cars with space for partners and offspring and associated luggage. Sleek and low slung, the stylish theme continued inside with neat Art Deco detailing.
VA production was curtailed by the war and just 1,259 saloons were built. This is one of them, an exquisite example whose superb lines boast every inch of its quality restoration. The detailing is magnificent and in excellent order.
With interest in the MG marque increasing by the day, this is surely the perfect time to rediscover one of the cars from the firm’s earliest days.
