1936 Austin Seven Ulster Replica

Highlights

  • Well-executed Ulster replica by Rod Yates Coachbuilder
  • Finished to a very high standard and beautifully presented
  • Accompanied by a substantial history file

The Appeal

Dubbed the ‘Ulster’ in recognition of its remarkable success at Northern Ireland’s Ards Circuit in the RAC Tourist Trophy, the long-tailed, aluminium-bodied Austin Seven EA Sports was both campaigned by the factory and made available to for privateers to purchase.
Ulsters continue to be a regular sight at historic races and trials events, and there have been several high-quality replicas available over the years, like this Rod Yates coachbuilt example. Based upon a 1936 Ruby, it’s been painstakingly converted to period-correct Ulster specification and finished to an exemplary standard.
The vendor informs us that that car is in rude health following an extensive mechanical rebuild, and we’re informed that it drives very well indeed.
