The Ford Model Y was the company's first car designed specifically for a non-American market. Compact and adapted to small European roads, it was a huge success.
This 1935 Model Y is not entirely original. In fact, Ford workers of the time would certainly have been speechless on seeing it today. The original bodywork has been removed and replaced by a magnificent fibreglass hot rod design, painted a vibrant red. Under the bonnet, they would still find a Ford engine, but instead of the original 0.9L four-cylinder engine, there is a much more powerful one, a 4.9L COBRA 302CI.
As you'll have gathered, this is no ordinary car. The conversion was completed before 2018, but since then it has covered just 4,185 miles (6,735 km). Naturally, its condition is immaculate, with very few signs of use or age. Fitted with a comfortable beige leather interior, matching roof and 4-speed manual gearbox, this hot rod is a car you will enjoy driving.image00025.jpeg2.92 MB
