This magnificent Model A Pick Up firmly fits into that illustrious history. Professionally modded with a Chevy 350CI V8 and Turbo 400 3spd auto, it has been very tastefully finished to a high standard, from the hand-crafted 7ft wooden bed to the quality signwriting.

History and Paperwork
- DVLA records that this is a 1934 Ford but it is fitted with an earlier ’32 Model A grille
- We are told the steel chassis and cab floor are mainly original
- VIN records carry B suffix which indicates it was originally fitted with a 4cyl engine
- Just three owners from new with current owner since 28th July 2021
- First UK registered on 1st May 2014
- 2 keys including battery cut off key
- The mods included a focus on comfort and drivability

This Pick Up clever retains the aesthetics of the original but subtly upgraded with accessories drawn straight from the classic hot rod playlist. It has clearly been modified to a very high standard, the paintwork and signwriting in particularly indicative of high quality work.
Across the exterior, underside and interior it displays as a very well maintained and kept vehicle. The structure in particular looks solid and well protected with underseal and the bodywork betrays no corrosion. Even the bespoke trimmed bed is well kept with no visible deterioration to the woodwork.

The joy of this hot rod is that its potency is underplayed by the exterior. Beneath the big bonnet is a Chevrolet 5.7litre V8 mated to a Turbo 400 gearbox. But the transformation doesn’t end there – as we’ve detailed above the suspension, brakes and exhaust system have also been upgraded to deliver a vehicle that is both comfort and very driveable. The fruity side exit exhaust is a particular delight n this most characterful of pick ups.
