The Appeal

The Master was the most expensive car in Chevrolet's range at the time. It was also to become basis for the very first Toyota , who reverse-engineered and replicated Chevrolet's design in 1935. Therefore, the Master has gone down in history as one of Chevrolet's most influential models, and we're pleased to offer this beautifully restored convertible example from 1933.

This car stands as a textbook example of full restoration done right. Period-correct techniques used including throughout the rebuild, with welded seams smoothed over in molten tin and copper priming underneath the new chrome on the bumpers.

The vendor recounts:
"I purchased this car in 2008 from a Dutch enthusiast who had kept it for over 30 years. He informed me it had had an earlier overhaul the '70s. After driving it as it was, in 2020 I decided to make it look like new again and had it taken apart for a body-off restoration."

The restoration included a complete disassembly, with attention to every detail, from the wooden subframe to the electrical wiring. The result is a vehicle that not only turns heads but also stands as a testament to the dedication and craftsmanship involved in its revival. With its high-end paintwork, new chrome, and brand new white wall tyres, this Chevrolet Master Convertible is ready to be cherished by a new owner who appreciates the efforts and considerable expenditure already invested in its restoration.
