1933 Austin Ten

  • Plenty of surviving period features
  • Solid bodywork

The Appeal

Often credited as one of the most important models to Austin's early success, the easily adoptable and mechanically simple Austin Ten sold a whopping 290,000 units in its lifetime, and continued production all the way up until the '47. It was a perfect mid-point in Austin's range, and is a bit of an exception to the rule of pre-war classics - there's a real love for the 'Ten', an enduring affection for it, and enthusiasts who've gotten behind the wheel will tell you that it's very well earned.

This beautiful example comes to us in a state that'll get any enthusiast excited. Well-loved and lived-in, with a charming patina, while maintaining a solid, dependable condition throughout. Lots of work has been carried out by the past couple of owners, including a complete engine and gearbox rebuild. The owner keeps a small collection, and sadly, this charming little 4-door has run out of room - a great opportunity for the enthusiast seeking a very plush, comfortable bit of pre-war finery for his fleet.
