Highlights
- Rare commercial variant, retaining period coachwork by Carrosserie Paul Gillaume
- Presented in very good overall condition, maintaining much of its originality
- With recent attention to the electrical system, we understand the van to be in good working condition
The Appeal
As quite a large chassis for its time, the competitively priced Renault OS2 proved the perfect basis for a number of commercial commercial applications. Therefore, various coachbuilders were entrusted with adapting it for a variety of uses.
Here we have one such example, a commendably original survivor originally adapted by Carrosserie Paul Gillaume. Featuring what looks to be a livestock enclosure, this later example would be a great addition to any museum or collection of pre-war commercials. Presented in remarkably fine condition for its age and in a striking colour scheme, this Renault awaits its next custodian.
