The Appeal
Introduced in 1930, and manufactured through to 1934, the Crossley Silver was a perfect reflection of what its illustrious company stood for. In many ways one of motoring's greatest pioneers, the Crossley Brothers were as devoted to mechanical innovation and quality as much as they were the church, and it reflected in their products.
The Silver was the next in their range from the 15.7 - and introduced features such as a centre change gearbox and rod-operated Perrot-Bendix brakes. It quickly gained a distinguished reputation, picked up by multiple royal families around the world. Today, it's a scarcely-seen classic that represents one of the finest pre-war marques out there.
This vehicle has been meticulously maintained and restored over the years, something that's evidenced from an enormous stack of paperwork and a full photographic record. The comprehensive rebuild, including a full body restoration and interior retrim, along with recent mechanical enhancements, makes this Crossley Silver a worthy consideration for any classic car enthusiast.
