Loss of storage has prompted this sale.
This car returns an avge 30mpg and has been giving me near 35mpg on motorway runs. Very very useful daily driver car which you wont be scared to drive.
Priced very reasonably compared to like vehicles and in fact extremely cheap when you compare it to the equivalent V8. And frankly, this is a lot more practical as a daily.
Excellent runner and everything works.
Only been on the road in this country for just over a year as was imported Oct ’08. MOT’d til next June, plenty of worry free driving to be had, which we intend to do if the card doesn’t sell. Lots of aftermarket items recently bought, some of which are atill to be fitted including a not inexpensive fog lamp conversion kit and a nice classic hardwood steering wheel. Brand new set of whiteband tyres with plenty of tread. Bonnet clips, a Booster conversion kit, a Pertronix ignition system upfront and pretty much a total distributor refit make it a smooth runner with what seems to be slightly more under the hood than youd expect from a straight 6 200 cube. Other goodies including an original and rare smog filter/ pump and some reupholstery make this an excellent and practical well looked after daily drive. Either as an ongoing project to do as you will or to keep as is and enjoy regular use driving in a 100% reliable car.
Its very tidy inside with clean relatively unmarked seats and roof lining. Carpets clean too although showing some signs of wear, but far from threadbare.
Nice clean instrument panel and unmarked dash with nice weather cover; external cowl cover as well to sort the generic ‘leak’ prob that can be a pain with some Mustangs.
The body’s straight with a few very minor pressure dents; more due to its age and useablility as opposed to accident damage.
Interesting owners folder too including lots of paperwork and receipts both before arriving in the UK and since then.
If youre looking for an affordable Mustang to enjoy and drive and not worry about every finger print or drop of rain that gets on it, but at the same time is a solid investment and in good running condition, this is the car for you.
Generally a car that cant be faulted and as mentioned, far from needing to sell but it deserves to be under cover.
