I want to sell my very early Swallow Doretti. Anyway just about 300 cars of this kind were built. This is # 11.
The car has a kind of tubular chassis built by Swallow coachbuilding Ltd. , Walsall. It was sold in the same display room as it´s parts donator, the Triumph TR2. Axles, instruments and drivetrain came from the Standard Motor Company.
The body is completely bolted onto the chassis and most of the outer panels are built from aluminium.
This particular car has still it´s original engine ( TS 310 E ) and is modified with an O/ D gearbox for comfortable travel.
The car had undergone a nut and bolt restauration about 8 years ago and had done about 5000 miles since.
I want to part with this rare car as I don´t use it enough. The valueation is between a TR 3 and a Austin Healey.
