Description
1973 Citroen DS in Camargue blue. Excellent starter and v smooth runner. LHD 2 litre, 5 seat belts, 5-speed manual column shift. Everything works well including hydraulics. MOT until end May 2010 (not used since last MOT). Decent but not perfect body – you could drive as is or restore, see photos of good and bad bits.
Good bits – waxed oiled by previous owner, new rear exhaust and track rod end for last MOT. Lots of service history. Very nice steering wheel. Super cheap classic car insurance. Purchased for art exhibition hence very low mileage in last 2 years. Bad bits – underside of passenger door is rusted through but looks fine from outside, small dent to rear OS wing, small bubbles in paint in predictable places, Drivers seat base has splits (typical of these cars). Spares – rear n/ s wing, windscreen. Priced to sell.
Viewers very welcome but only if you are very interested, not just because you want to drive one of these French beauties before you die.
