I am selling my 911 Targa Sport. It is a 1987 model and as far as I know it is in its original state. It has a modern radio cd player, and an up to date Cat one Thatcham approved alarm.
The car has a comprehensive history file with it which goes back quite a few years and lists many jobs that have been done at great expense, including an engine strip at 88000 miles.
The porsche has a full OPC service record until 1995, when independents took over that task. I did the last service myself as I am a mechanical engineer, and I know the job is done properly ! I have also replace the heater control valves (flapper boxes) with brand new items. A common item to rot and fail on these cars.
It has just passed the Mot for this current year, and it has a short period of road tax left. I shall tax the car further for the right deal.
It has a recorded 131000 miles on the clock, I believe this to be correct as the history file proves.
As the car is a sport model it comes with full leather seats and lovely 80's red carpet! These are all in good condition and are not ripped or worn to excess.
The targa top has been retrimmed. I know this because there is a receipt for it in the file.
The bodywork is in gaurds red and it is in my opinion in good condition for its age. It has a few stonechips at the front, but it is nothing to take your eye away from the beauty of this car.
Please note, the steering wheel in the picture is no longer fitted. The original wheel was more appropriate.
